Boston show on 4/23
Hmmm alright. First of all does everyone have something to drink, are you comfortable, relaxed? Good. Now your prepared to listen, or in this case, read my story of my experience with the Lights show in Boston.
Okay, so I rolled up in Boston at the HoB at 4 o'clock ( I wanted to show up at 3, but it was aight ). I met up with Matt Kane who is from the Street Team and saved me a spot in line and we started chatting for a bit and made some friends while in line. Luckily, Matt was getting tweets from Jeremy-you're-the-bomb-Bug and we went to the spot that Joel was going to be at for the chance to get into the meet and greet. Joel came out and a swarm of people (mostly 13 year old girls) rushed to him like shark bait (shark bait, who ha ha for all you Finding Nemo fans :P ). I was uber pumped when I got my ticket. So when we went into the building, I strolled up to Lights and we talked for a bit, she signed some stuff, we took a forum picture, and I told her that I was the one who asked "how much grey goose it took for her to get loose" and she remembered me (lol who wouldn't forget that question). Any who, my friend and I went into the venue we got front row against the bar. Then Paper Route came on. Their music was very catchy, therefore lead me to fist pumping. In the mean time from the corner of my eye I saw Lights on the second floor in a sneaky room where not many people could see her. She was watching PR play from up above waiting for her turn on centah stage. Im proud to say that she definitely saw me and the forum members fist pumping, so she pointed and laughed at us, a lot. But did I care, nope, not at all :) . This fiasco went on for the whole time PR was on stage. THEN, Lights came on. Dun dun dun. So Lights came out did her thing, strutted her stuff, and got really into her music enough to get on the floor with Vancouver. lol. Anyway, she knew that we, the forum members, were standing front row and she came over to us. While everyone was offering her high fives, I needed to be different so I put out my fist and she almost fell over the stage to reach me. Luckily, our fists collided and a little static energy exploded from it. She started to play February Air and then she came back over to us with Vanny to say hi again. Oh, and when she played Second Go, there was also some fist pumping happening and she saw us doing it and laughed at us, again. Once she finished her set with Last Thing on Your Mind, Owl City came on. OMG. I couldn't believe how many 13 year old girls there were pushing their way to the front. I was like "Your not going to get any closer so stop pushing me". Anyway, Owl City put on a good show. Lots of energy was coming from Adam. Lets just say he uses up a lot of the stage.
So this just about sums up my night. All in all this was a great concert and whoever is going to this concert, have fun :), cause I know I did. Now you guys can go to the bathroom cause this is a long review and I bet you guess where drinking something liquid. Thanks for reading this :)
