really. I first discovered lights at the owl city concert in Tampa last week. When she came on, i forgot all about owl city. I was mesmerized by her beauty. Then, she mentioned she played WoW while on stage. It was love at first sight. She even has the phoenix blade tattooed on her arm. Now that's dedication to gaming and also the awesomest thing i've ever seen. She's also a really great performer and wouldn't be ashamed to listen to her music as a guy. I was so dissapointed I didn't go back stage to meet her. My friends made me leave right after cus they we're tired and wanted to go home...

So my GF and I went to Madison to hit up the Owl City concert (she is a huge fan). I didn't really know to much about them or the bands who would be opening for them. First band comes on, lead singer has a solid voice, but no big whoop. Then Lights came out. I had no idea who she was, all i knew is that she had some gangster tatts. All of the sudden she sings a song about WoW.... it felt like somebody had given me a whole bunch of x. I love WoW, and yes I have an 80 character that I would like you all to know about. US Crushridge Server. Reina is my character name. I look forward to playing with some of you other nerds out there. We can shoot the shit about lights, owl city, and Wow, while I pown you rookie noobs.

Hi Lights! (If you get to read this), and fans.

I have put together a short movie of a particular boss encounter in WoW which I find conveys beauty and design style relevant to Lights. In this video, the boss (Val'kyr Twins in Trial of the Crusader) was prematurely engaged, so I somewhat played the role as the Saviour! :P

The video's music has not been altered. Coincidently (kinda), at the time of the fight, my Windows Media Player was actually playing what you hear in the video. :)

It's so awesome seeing another person unafraid to come out with how nerdy they are. I'm a girl that plays WoW and people always find it weird, but I love surprising them when I tell them I play WoW. I have an 80 troll warrior and a 80 drae warrior, both duel spec prot/fury. Girl + tank = confused boys. I love how in one of your interviews you choose werewolf over vampire solely based on WoW bias with worgens being alliance. Twinblade is very beautiful, but my TF still holds a special place in my heart, can't beat the awesome streaming glow and how totally massive it is for a 1h.

I have to agree with you eleventy million % on gaming. It allows one to escape from the world mentally, even if for a brief time. Fourteen hour drives? O.o I have a geared DK on Hellscream, Alliance of course (only noobs play Horde). Defdealr is the name, armory him and drool at his awesomeness sometimes. I was a Fury whore until the nerf, now I just don't really play my warrior, at least until they fix it. And yes I supported you by buying the Savior EP, altho I must say Listening is growing on me. If someone were to make a nice dance mix to that song it'd be huge in the clubs.

I don't play WoW but I do spend a lot of time playing Xbox Live / Halo. I'll be getting the new Modern Warfare game as well as Halo 3: ODST when that comes out too. Lights, if you dig shooter games hit me up and we'll play sometime!
