Warning: Nerdity

I will be very surprised if you are able to follow along with what I’m about to write, but sometimes one thing just leads to another and you’re suddenly like, “woah, life makes sense!”

Here’s why life makes sense today:

My hero and celebrity crush is King Varian Wrynn (Alliance king in World of Warcraft). Varian was once best friends with Arthas, whose weapon of choice was called Light’s Vengeance. The second painting I released was called Vengeance. Vengeance was loosely inspired by a female spy in Y: The Last Man (comic series) in which a “plague” kills off every male on earth. Back in Azeroth (Warcraft) the plague of undeath from The Lich King’s frozen throne conquers Northrend. The Lich King is Arthas after he ditched Light’s Vengeance (not my painting…) and took up Frostmourne (one of the most powerful weapons in WoW lore) allowing it to turn him evil. I have a replica of Frostmourne hanging on my wall. I recieved Frostmourne as a gift (<3 @TBone898) on the same tour that I met my fiance. My fiance looks (to me) like King Varian Wrynn if he were a fantasy hero. Minus the scar across his face… and the bitter glare.

That, my friends, is how hard-core nerdity and reality and love all come full circle. Amen.
