"Ice" the World of Warcraft Version by Lavdim

I also thought I'd do something a little different and interview Ladvim via email about the video:

Jeremy: How long did the entire process take? (including planning and execution?

Lavdim: I started working on the project sometime in early May and finished mid June, but as far as actual time spent on the video goes (drawing, cutting, recording, editing etc), it took somewhere between 20-30 hours.

Jeremy: What inspired you to make an "Ice" video instead of any other LIGHTS song?

Lavdim: As soon as I saw the original video, I was immediately inspired. I have always enjoyed art, and although all of LIGHTS' videos are artistic, "Ice" was the one I could replicate with the most accuracy. The video came across as raw and purely original, which was another inspiration. Then came the idea of incorporating World of Warcraft. Being a WoW head myself, I felt like this was something I had to do.

Jeremy: What was one of the challenges you faced while making the video?

Lavdim: I had many challenges, for example making the story line fit, and the scenes correspond to the song. I also wasn't too sure about adding scenes from the original for better flow of the entire thing. I did end up adding one scene because there was nothing else that really fit for that particular part of the video
