I first heard Lights one morning when I woke up on "chym fm" some time in 2007 I believe... I had that station on simply because it was a local station with a good reception in my room :P Anyway, every morning the hosts pick one song of their own choice to play. The hosts quoted lights myspace page and I think mentioned how she had a deal with old navy for commercials. Also that she was from Toronto! Which I thought was great! (cuz it's where i'm from) So they played February Air which is still my favorite song by Lights :) Probably even more because it's a song about the month when I was born and I don't remember any other song about Feb. (When I saw that she was playing in "London" in Feb on my birthday, thought I'd go see, but then realized it wasn't Ontario!! lol :( :( :( ) Anyway, really love her music! It's so different. Told my friends and my girlfriend to listen too.
